As the Marketing Manager you will lead the development and implementation of Scienta Omicron´s marketing, social media, branding, and communication activities. Reporting to the Global Sales Director, you will work closely with our regional sales and service teams, and with our product managers to drive best-practice marketing communications, optimising the promotion of our brand and products within the available budget. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement the marketing communications plan together with key stakeholders in Sales, Service & Product Management

Help to prepare central, regional and product range marketing budgets, and monitor spend and progress against the marketing plan to gain maximum impact

Own the corporate identity for Scienta Omicron and Scienta Scientific and work with colleagues and other group companies to ensure consistent branding and messaging across businesses and product lines, both for internal and external use

Plan and execute company promotional and advertising communications campaigns such as press releases, mail, digital, print, and special events including webinars

Supervise the design, production, and distribution of collateral and promotional materials to aid the company’s sales and marketing program, generating materials in-house where possible

Coordinate with product managers and regional sales and service to develop a strong pipeline of marketing and promotional content

Organise marketing materials and archives and establish a document management system to ensure all materials remain updated and relevant

Work with agents, distributors, and other partner organisations to develop partner marketing programs consistent with our global communications plan and branding guidelines

Create original, error-free, clear, and concise content that delivers compelling and effective communication

Responsible for all company interactions on social media, including creating and uploading content and responding or reacting to messages

Responsible for company compliance to GDPR and other data protection regulations

Manage and develop the company’s mailing lists, including the CRM, and use marketing automation tools to enable targeted communications to specific market segments

Manage Scienta Omicron and Scienta Scientific websites, create and update content, and liaise with external partners to ensure site stability and maintenance.  Optimise SEO and drive actions to grow website traffic and engagement

Assist in selecting, negotiating and managing external partners, such as website agencies, publishers, advertising and marketing agencies, press agencies, and external consultants.

Put in place measures for recording the impact of marketing and communication efforts; gather result data and produce reports for the management team.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Previous experience with marketing communications, digital marketing, social media manager for similar organisations (Experience within the scientific research instrumentation market would be an advantage)
  • Strong understanding of website content management systems (experience with Pimcore would be an advantage)
  • Experience in SEO, Google Analytics, PPC, Email marketing, and social media.
  • Experience with desktop publishing software to produce professional marketing materials would be an advantage
  • Articulate and professional communication skills in English language are essential
  • Able to work to organisational deadlines and KPI’s.
  • Passionate and results-driven individual.
  • Able to work independently and influence others towards common goals
  • Curious and open to learn more about the physics-/technology field
